Storytelling is something that has been around for ages. Social media and content platforms are what they are based on their ability to tell individual or corporate stories in a relatable way to their audience.

There are three key aspects when looking at storytelling as a marketing tool:

  1. Hook your audience early. Spark their curiosity from the beginning.
  2. The customer is the main character, not your product. Make the customer the protagonist of your brand and tag along their story. Sharing their side of the consumer experience is much more meaningful than creating something that is not relatable to them.
  3. Connect with emotional impact. People tend to consume what they are connected with to an emotional level.
